The Wood River Valley in central Idaho, has an ever-increasing Spanish speaking population. With the majority of newcomers from Mexico, Sun Valley Center for the Arts curated an exhibition entitled Dos Culturos. My assignment was to reflect photographically the rich culture that continues to remain in this Mexican community so far away from its origins. Whether in new restaurants, celebrations of Virgen de Guadelupe, Quinceanera or christenings, tradition continues to cement ties and sustain a community.
